Power Lines

As i walk around Manila whilst fighting my way through thousands of people going about their daily life's , I take a look up and notice the pure chaos of the overhead power lines.
These dangling power lines seem to go through mostly every street in the metropolis but then goes underground in Makati due to the amount of high rise buildings.

How does one get their head around all this !?!

                                            The electrical risk looks massive

Street Vendors (Quezon City)

Spending time within Manila i noticed the vast amount of Street Vendors selling everything from Food to hand made Furniture at very low prices!
Location : Dominga Village (Quezon City)

VENDOR SELLING BAMBOO FURNITURE

Now this Bamboo set was a great deal at 1000 pesos but it was untreated and woodworm along with ants had already set up home inside

COCONUTS

The coconut vendor who only seems to walk his route during the early mornings

FISH VENDOR

Now i never bothered with these guys as you have no idea of how fresh the fish is!

SOYA MILK

This Soya vendor walks up and down the street during the late afternoons and does good business from what i seen .

VEGETABLES

From my own experience of vendors i found it was best to stay away from any Meats and never eat the Icecream !

Pagsanjan Falls (Laguna)

The Falls are just a stone throw away from our house so it would of been rude not to visit this beautiful place.
AWAITING OUR TRIP AT THE RESORT

The going rate for a boat ride to the falls is 2500pesos but do expect to pay slightly higher prices even though you are advised to report any boatman charging more than the going rate.

START OF OUR TRIP UP THE RIVER

After being suited up with a life vest and a hard hat the trip started up the river.

3 PEOPLE PER BOAT & 2 BOAT MEN

The trip to the falls turns into a uphill water rapid and it just shows how hard this job can be but most locals in the town was or knows a boatman as the job pays well and it is a good living for the people of Pagsanjan

MADE IT !!

The trip takes around a hour to get to the falls where you can swim through and reach the cave behind the water flow . The trip in total took around 3 hours and expect to be asked for a tip by the boatman when you have returned to the resort . A well worth trip and a must if you are staying around Pagsanjan !
