As i walk around Manila whilst fighting my way through thousands of people going about their daily life's , I take a look up and notice the pure chaos of the overhead power lines.
These dangling power lines seem to go through mostly every street in the metropolis but then goes underground in Makati due to the amount of high rise buildings.
The Falls are just a stone throw away from our house so it would of been rude not to visit this beautiful place.
AWAITING OUR TRIP AT THE RESORT
The going rate for a boat ride to the falls is 2500pesos but do expect to pay slightly higher prices even though you are advised to report any boatman charging more than the going rate.
START OF OUR TRIP UP THE RIVER
After being suited up with a life vest and a hard hat the trip started up the river.
3 PEOPLE PER BOAT & 2 BOAT MEN
The trip to the falls turns into a uphill water rapid and it just shows how hard this job can be but most locals in the town was or knows a boatman as the job pays well and it is a good living for the people of Pagsanjan
MADE IT !!
The trip takes around a hour to get to the falls where you can swim through and reach the cave behind the water flow . The trip in total took around 3 hours and expect to be asked for a tip by the boatman when you have returned to the resort . A well worth trip and a must if you are staying around Pagsanjan !
Sunday club is basically a group of local people from the village of Kalayaan (Laguna) who get together every week for a drinking session ! . The local people drink the local wine called Lambanog which is a coconut wine sold in various size bottles from 1ltr (70pesos) up to 1 gallon containers (350pesos) .
SUNDAY CLUB WITH THE LOCALS
Now during my time one sunday afternoon after drinking with the guys i was given a gift ! , yes a live native chicken which was killed, plucked and cooked infront of me and turn't into a lovely chicken soup !
